The author of a ‘poevella’ (half poem; half novella) The Cuban, the e-novel, The Kill Gene, a book length poem, Buddha Bastinado Blues, and a growing selection of poems published in online journals, Ben White has earned his spot on the day-shift with over 20 years of schooling. While he was earning his latest degree, an MFA from the University of Tampa, he was convinced he was a poet. But he has since found out he is not a poet at all; he is a witness.
